  David R. "Elmo" Wright, of Monroe passed away March 26, 2016. He was born on April 20, 1958 in Rockford, a son of Roy D. and Betty (Whitmer) Wright and was a 1976 Graduate of Pearl City High School. In 1979 he was injured in a motorcycle accident and has since been in the loving care of his mother and step-father. David was a member of the Yellow Creek Church of The Brethren near Pearl City. Survivors include his step-father, his two sisters, his brother, his siblings spouses, nieces and nephews, and his Aunts. Preceding him in death were his father, his mother, Betty Carson on Mar. 14, 2016, and his sister, Mary Isenberger. Burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport. Offenheiser-Schwarz Funeral Home in Pearl City.
