MYRVOLD, ARTHUR C. Racine Age 76 years. Passed away Thursday evening, March 14, 1996, in Sinai Samaritan Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wis.
Mr. Myrvold was born in Racine on March 22, 1919. In Racine on March 12, 1943, he was united in marriage to the former Anne E. Gorog, who preceded him in death on March 6, 1987. Art had served in the United States Navy during World War II.
He had been employed by the Racine Hydraulics-Rexnord Company for about 40 years, retiring in 1982. Mr. Myrvold was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, the Sons of Norway, Belle City Clown Club, Super Seniors, and the Rexnord 20 Year Club. Surviving him are three daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Robert Riederer of Racine, Joyce and Craig Stabenau of Sturgeon Bay, and Cheryl and Gary Minkowski of Racine; eight grandchildren, Caryn (Tim) Hein, Ryan, Shane, Joshua, Matthew, Lucas, Kristin, and Lisa; and his very special friend, Elaine Nelson of Racine. Mr.
Myrvold was preceded in death by his brother, Henry Myrvold. Funeral services will be held in the Zion Lutheran Church, 3805 Kinzie Avenue, on Tuesday morning, March 19, 1996, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Steven Blyth officiating. Interment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park.
